Greg Burton, Senior Pastor
Greg came to us after living most of his life in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky. His mother was born and raised in Carter County, so his roots run deep in East Tennessee. He even has orange shirts! His greatest desire is to emulate Jesus Christ and display a consistency in his faithwalk as pastor, father, husband, and friend. He has a wife (Theresa) and three children: Adam, Andrew, and Ashley.
Greg sees the beauty in our church and the potential we have in becoming a huge family of faith. In his spare time Greg enjoys being with his family and friends. The whole family plays golf (Theresa is the cheerleader!), travels, shops, and enjoys cookouts and lots of humor. Reading, history, photography, and physical fitness are some other interests of our pastor. Pray for him to be the shepherd our Lord has called him to be.

Assoc. Pastor
Greg Whitlock, Associate Pastor
Greg has many years of experience which include serving as Minister of Education and Administration at five churches from 1981 to the present. Both Greg and his wife, Pam, served as missionaries in Korea and China for six years.
He has extensive experience in education, church administration, day care/preschool management, and
facilities management.
Greg considers his spiritual gifts to be those of administration, teaching and evangelism. Greg believes we should always be asking what can we, as a church, do to reach the community, to disciple our people, and to take on faith-sized projects for the Kingdom? Greg and Pam have two children, Tyler and Anna and two grandchildren, Logan and Maddux. Please pray for Greg and his ministry.

Music Minister
Allen Bowling, Minister of Music
Allen has been with us now since 2000. A native Tennessean from Memphis, he and his wife, Trisha, have blessed our church by making a new home here in East Tennessee! He enjoys blending worship from various styles to allow everyone to find something that stirs their heart. Allen loves his family, golf, humor (a few bad jokes!), travel, racquetball, boating and his wonderful grandchildren - Trent, Tanner, Mallory and Connor. Take some time to get to know him and consider getting involved in the music ministry.

Student Minister
Daniel Selman, Student Minister
Daniel and his family have made a wonderful home here with us in Kingsport for more than three years. His wife, LaDonna, and wonderful children, Mikayla, Carter, Asher, and Emma, are devoted as much as he is to building relationship with students, leading others to a personal relationship with Christ, and facilitating the call of God on the lives of students.

Children's Minister
Yvette Whittemore, Children's Minister
Yvette Whittemore joined our ministry staff in March 2008. Even though she has just recently joined the staff at CHBC, she has been a member since 1994. She and her husband Tom have three wonderful children: Trey, Lauren and Ty. She feels like the sweet spirit and laughter of children help to keep her feeling young. Please drop in for a visit and let her share with you about the children's ministry.

Parish Nurse
Pam Arms, Parish Nurse
Pam Arms is a Registered Nurse who now uses her training in a church setting as a member of our ministry staff. She and her husband, Larry, have three lovely daughters: Stephanie, Kristen, and Heather. Pam & Larry spend a lot of time keeping up with their busy kids and they all enjoy some free time on the beach in South Carolina. Come by and let Pam check your blood pressure and chat about good health and good faith!
