Coodinator for Archival Collection
When the church was in it's infancy, there was not a focus on preserving it's history of service, missions and ministry. As it gets older, we have realized that need. We need volunteers to help keep it before the congregants to donate historical documents, photos, records to add to the growing collection. Also, volunteers to help us catalog and display the items.
Coordinator for Annual Backpack/School Supply Drive
Every July, we collect as many backpacks and school supplies to donate to children at Miller Perry and Rock Springs Elementary Schools. We need those to promote, pack the backpacks, buy supplies and backpacks with donated funds and coordinate the drop off. If you have a heart for equipping children to begin the school year with supplies that allow them to feel confident and hold their heads up high, this role is for you.
Planning Team Member for 2021 CHBC Online Church Directory
No more photo sales. No more high pressure technic. No more directories that are out-of-date shortly after we buy them. This directory will be owned and managed and updated by the church. We determine the size, format, and content. We make our own pictures free of charge. We can add members as they join. We can move pictures as needed to a memorial section. This is a huge step forward and we can still print hard copies for those that would prefer that. We are excited about this step forward to a more user-friendly directory. We hope to plan in the Winter and launch in the Spring.
